The Control Panel gives you the tools to manage your Microsoft Exchange users, contacts, and distribution lists.
You can add, edit, delete, or disable mailboxes. Add or edit multiple mailboxes by uploading a CSV file. You can also set up special mailbox permissions for executive assistants allowing them to have full access to a mailbox or send-as capabilities.
Add, edit, and delete distribution lists and contacts. A distribution list is an email address that has no mailbox but directs mail to one or more real mailboxes. For example, you could set up a distribution list for sales@yourdomain.com that points to the mailboxes of multiple users on your sales team. A distribution list can only send to email addresses in the Exchange account. To send to an external address, the external address must be set up as a contact. For example, you can set up the contact bob@yourdomain.com to point to bob@yahoo.com; then bob@yourdomain.com can be added to a distribution list.
Manage equipment or room reservations with resource mailboxes. Resource mailboxes can share a calendar, receive calendar invites, and respond based on the availability of the resource. Resource mailboxes are free and do not count against your mailbox limit.
Add or remove Exchange licensing for your mobile devices. Licenses are available for iPhone®, Android®, Windows® Mobile, and BlackBerry®. You can also view device details and activate security options for the BlackBerry®. In case of theft or loss, you can reset, lock, or kill the device.
